Both these e-book readers start at $79 for the basic versions, but while the basic Nook is ad-free, you’d have to shell out an additional $20 to avoid ads in your Kindle. The next versions are the Kindle Paperwhite and Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight, which cosr $129 and $119 respectively. The former has a slightly higher resolution, as well as better specs overall. Both these devices have 6-inch displays, but we lean towards the Kindle for not having any physical buttons and for letting us turn the page with a simple tap on the screen.
