Samsung has started taking pre-orders for its upcoming flagship smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S5, through a few online stores. The smartphone was launched on February 24 and is up for pre-order more than a month in advance of its release. However, there is a price variation for pre-orders in different countries. French multinational telecommunications corporation Orange is accepting pre-orders in Romania for Samsung Galaxy S5 at a value of €249 (approximately $342) with two years contract and €699 (approximately $960) without contract and unlocked. The newly launched smartphone can be ordered in Russia through Samsung’s official Russian site at a price of 29,900 rubles (approximately $829); however, the phone is available in only white and black variants, according to SamMobile. There is a price difference of $100 in both countries. And the smartphone price in India through Saholic, an Indian online retailer owned by Spice Group, is much lesser and is available at 45,500 rupees (around $735). The smartphone price is ranging between €667.30 (around $915.47) and €729 ($1000) across Europe. Samsung had earlier said that the flagship device is scheduled to be released on April 11 in 150 countries worldwide. Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available with a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD (1920x1080p) resolution. The smartphone will be powered by 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 (32-bit architecture) series processor, and will operate on Android v4.4.2 KitKat OS. Additionally, the smartphone will be equipped with some other features, including fingerprint sensor, water and dust-resistant, fast autofocus speed, advanced HDR and fifth generation Wi-Fi.
