Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was launched in September with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, featuring as the last gadget to come with Android Jelly Bean OS. The Galaxy S4 released in April came with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and was updated to 4.3 Jelly Bean. Now, rumours are in the air that Android 4.4 Kitkat will be the next update that will come in the next year for GS4 as well as Galaxy Note 3. The first set of phones that got the update of Android 4.4 Kitkatwere Nexus series which was followed by the Google Play gadgets and Moto X finally. Samsung hasn’t much spoken about the Android 4.4 Kitkat update. But rumours state that will coming in the first quarter of the next year, stated by Gotta Be Mobile. SFR has proved these rumours correct and scheduled the release of the update on both the device in January or February. The French carrier that the update of Kitkat 4.4 version will be released in these two months, however no specific update has been stated till now.  This confirmation from SFR for the Galaxy Note 3 and GS4 Android 4.4 Kitkat update is true and it also provides a time frame in which the users can expect the update. Right now only SFR has confirmed this news however, it is expected that the others will soon confirm it. However, Samsung and its service providers are silent about the launch of the update. It is still unclear whether Samsung will upgrade TouchWiz with the Android update or not.
