Wal-Mart has said that they are also selling the 16 GB iPhone 4S and the 16 GB fourth generation iPad with Retina display and WiFi at discounts. This offer is available for 30 days in about 3,000 Wal-Mart stores. However, the company has not identified these stores. They are not selling the iPhone 5 at a discount online either. While Apple is stern about its pricing for the high-end smartphone, Wal-Mart says this discount is available in an arrangement with Apple. “We worked together with them on this,” Wal-Mart spokesperson Sarah Spencer said.
