SK Telecom, a South Korean firm, is believed to be in the middle of negotiations with the Cupertino Calif.-based company to launch the upcoming iPhone 5S with LTE-A technology. The upcoming iPhone 5S, speculated to be out this September will have 4G LTE-A speed if rumors turn out to be true. Apple is trying to steer the benefits on the iPhone 5S, giving the device download power with double the speed than its predecessor. Walking on the similar lines, Samsung also recently unveiled its LTE-Advanced Galaxy S4 officially last week. This news followed SK Telecom’s announcement of launching world’s first 4G LTE-Advanced network in South Korea. Coming as good news for those in South Korea, it seems UK and other countries will have to wait to run LTE-Advanced to gain from this network with greater speed and power. Considering both the arch rivals in the mobile world; Apple and Samsung, if the former also launches its iPhone 5S with super-speed, it seems LTE-Advanced network will soon make its way all over the globe.
