Hoping to emerge out of shadows, Nokia aims to stay at peak among rivals including Samsung Galaxy S5 and Apple IPhone 6. The camera quality of Lumia 1020 is bigger than the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S4 that’s 8 and 16 megapixels respectively. However, there’s one major feature the device lacks- apps. The Lumia 1020 houses only 160,000 apps, whereas rivals hold about five times as many apps. In a bid to stay in competition, Samsung also last month uncovered a Galaxy S4 version with 16MP camera and Xenon flash on the back. Nevertheless, with the latest Lumia 1020, the Finnish mobile maker is hoping to make a comeback with a bang. With the latest Dual Capture technology, the device can take two shots simultaneously, one at 38-megapixel resolution for photo editing and the other at 5-megapixel for uploads to social media. The Lumia 1020 also houses the Nokia Pro Camera app and Nokia Rich Recording video capturing technology. Designed with a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ Amoled display, the Lumia 1020 runs a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The handset holds a 2,000mAh battery. Starting July 26th, the Lumia 1020 will carry a price tag of $299.99 with a two-year contract in the US via AT&T carrier.
