The ongoing patent war between Samsung and Apple may come to halt. The US District Judge Lucy Koh asked for both the giants to withdraw their weapons and hail peace. The recent developments suggested that the judge would give her decisions in favor of Samsung but it seems the decision is not coming anytime soon. “I think it’s time for global peace,” US District Court Judge Lucy Koh said after legal teams from Apple and Samsung dueled for hours over post-verdict motions in her courtroom in the Silicon Valley city of San Jose. “Let me hear if there is anything the court can do,” she continued. “It would be good for consumers; good for the industry and good for the parties.” In a statement from Samsung Charles Verhoeven, it is clear that South Korean giant was in mood in negotiating with Apple but it was Apple who was not willing for a settlement. According to Samsung, Apple wants to engage in the thermonuclear war and has chosen court as the battleground.
