It’s not just the iPad Mini that tech enthusiasts are looking forward to during Apple’s upcoming press event to be held on October 23. There are strong rumors that Apple could release a 13-inch version of the MacBook Pro with its now famous Retina Display technology on the same day. Now, 9to5Mac has estimated that the basic version of this 13-inch device could cost around $1,699, while upgraded versions with more memory and storage options could cost up to $2,000. Apple had launched the 15-inch MacBook Pro with the Retina Display earlier this year, and while the product was well received, the world wished for the same technology in a smaller package as well. This Retina Display technology is the same that features in the third-generation iPad screen, and the 15-inch MacBook Pro comes with a price tag of $2,199. The rumors expecting Apple to launch the 13-inch MacBook Pro started doing the rounds after the company sent out press invites for the October 23 event stating that ‘they have a little more to show you’. Here’s hoping for more bestselling tech products from the house of Apple!
