The images of Apple’s new Mac Pro will surely leave you spellbound. The new cylindrical Mac Pro will instigate many questions to be looked for answers. Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior VP of marketing describes the machine as unlike anything they have ever made. Apple has been condemned for long as it is no more innovating except for few RAM and CPU upgrades to the Mac Pro line. Its stock has also plunged noticeably following the passing of Steve Jobs. Now Apple has an answer with the new Mac Pro and a reason too to totally remodel its flagship desktop computer. The press release of Apple states the next generation Mac Pro as the most radical Mac with the latest Xeon processors, dual FirePro GPUs, ECC memory, PCIe-based flash and Thunderbolt 2, all built around a revolutionary thermal core. It further adds that this performance and expandability is packed into a dramatic new design that’s one-eighth the volume and would be assembled in the USA.   The thermal core technology would allow the heat of its components to go to thermal core where cooler air from the bottom of the cylinder will cool the entire machine. How effective is the technology is a question whose answer lies in the future, but one thing for sure that it takes up very little space and extremely portable.
