The rumours about the new iPhone 5S have been rampant and it is very difficult to make out the difference between which ones are possible and credible and which are just a hoax. And that is why I try and get the best opinions from the most trustworthy sources, like KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kou. He has recently spoken to AppleInsider for an update on what to expect with the new iPhone 5S and it is all good news so far. The most visible change will be a pale golden or champagne colour option with the new iPhone 5S – which has since been spotted in leaked pictures. He has also stated that it is very likely that the new iPhone 5S will have a 128GB memory module and a A7 series cortex processor mated to a 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM chip. It is anticipated that Apple will release the new iPhone 5S along with its cheaper sibling the iPhone 5C on the 10th of September at a media event that should also see the release of the new iOS 7. The bigger brother of these phones, the iPhone 6, will probably be released in November.
