The smartphone will carry a price tag of Rs 8500, and will be available with some pre-loaded applications including Maps, Mixradio, Facebook and Twitter. This phone boasts a 4-inch touchscreen with dual SIM feature. The Nokia smartphone will be powered by Android’s Jellybean operating system, dual core 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM and memory expandable up to 32GB. Additionally, it will be equipped with a 3MP rear camera.  The company showcased its X range of smartphones – Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL – at the Mobile World Congress on February 24 2014 in Barcelona. All these X series smartphones are powered by Google’s Android operating system.  Nokia X is due to be launched in Asia-Pacific, Europe, India, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, while the Nokia X+ and Nokia XL are most likely to be available in these markets in the early second quarter with a price tag of €99 (Rs 8,300) and €109 (Rs 9,200) respectively. Nokia X is already available in Malaysia at a price of 399 Malaysian ringgit (nearly Rs 7,500).
