The latest to join the club is the technology solutions provider Dell, which uncovered its Dell XPS 12 convertible laptop, the Dell XPS One 27, and Dell Inspiron One 23 all-in-one desktops. All these laptops are up for pre-orders on the company’s US site. Dell promises to ship all pre-ordered devices on Oct. 26, the day Windows 8 launch. The Dell XPS 12 convertible laptop is the successor of Dell Inspiron Duo, which came out in 2010. Hugely publicized as a laptop and a tablet, the XPS 12 converts from laptop to tablet easily via a flip-hinge design. Designed in a 12-inch size, the device sports a full HD display. The price range of Dell XPS 12 starts at $1,199. Next in line, the Dell XPS One 27 boasts of a 27-inch screen. This all-in-one PC is designed with a 10-finger capacitive touch screen. With hinged-arm design and high-resolution display, this system makes a good choice starting at a base price of $1,599.99. Coming to the next, the Dell Inspiron One 23 all-in-one desktop is designed with a touch-enabled screen. Measuring 23 inches, this system offers a resolution of 1,920-by-1,080 pixels. Available with Ivy Bridge CPUs, the starting price of Inspiron One 23 all-in-one desktop is $779.99. However, for those using Inspiron and XPS systems, Dell offers a Windows 8 option. The same Windows 8 option will also be available for select Latitude and OptiPlex models.
