Smartphone lovers in Japan may soon get their hands on the new LG smartphone, Optimus G Pro, through the largest telecom carrier NTT DoCoMo. The Optimus G Pro is part of the carrier’s “NEXT Series”, along with the Sony Xperia Z and Huawei Ascend D2. Looks like customers in Japan will surely be spoilt for choice starting from February onwards. The LG Optimus G Pro comes with a 5-inch full HD display, and is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor. This phone is capable of LTE connectivity and is fitted with a 13.1MP camera. Running on Android 4.1, it has a massive 3000 mAh battery to keep it running for a long time. It is expected to be available in the Japanese market from early April. In addition to the LG Optimus Pro, NTT DoCoMo will also bring the Sharp AQUOS PHONE EX and the NEC/Casio MEDIAS X smartphone. The Sharp phone has a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 720X1080 pixels and will be powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, while the MEDIAS X features a 4.7-inch screen with similar resolution and similar tech specs as well.
