The big day at Mozzila has arrived. The organization is set to launch its beta version for desktop and Andriod. The desktop version is up for major updates including the new Ion Monkey, which has been comapany’s major undertaking. Ion Monkey would improve the performance of desktop version by 26% as compared to previous versions i.e.Trace Monkey and Jager monkey. The beta version would also have Retina support for OSX 10.7, WebRTC support and built PDF viewer. Firefox 18 will also allow users to disable insecure content on HTTPS secure websites. Firefox 18 would support W3C touch events, which replaces Mozilla’s own MozTouch events for users with touch-enabled screens. Only 1.1 percent of Firefox users (and 4.4 percent of Firefox users on Windows 8) currently use touch screens.
