According to recent rumor, Nokia is planning a “camera shell” accessory as well for the Lumia 1020 to fit on the back of the smartphone and raise it so the 41-megapixel camera lens would be leveled out. The accessory became a necessity as the previously leaked image showed a rather large protruding lens, which would prevent the smartphone from lying flat on its back. However, with the accessory serving as a case, the extended battery provided by Nokia for Lumia 1020 will give users a better grip on the same. It will slide into the case connecting it to its microUSB connector. The case with a 1020 mAh battery would extend the life by up to 35 percent allowing the users to take pictures with one hand only. A camera shutter button with a microUSB port and a jack to allow users to attach the smartphone to a tripod, the Lumia 1020 would be able to charge itself while the case is charging. Some other features of the Lumia include a 4.5-inch 768 x 1280 AMOLED ClearBlack Display, Windows Phone 8 with Lumia Amber update,a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 32GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM,  4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/c/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, wireless charging out of the box and a non-removable 2,000 mAh battery. The price of the smartphone along with its accessory still remains a mystery while the carrier is rumored to be an AT&T exclusive in the U.S.
