However, he recently said that while the company is strong in the social space, “they’re also doing a really bad job on their products … we’re actually doing something different [from Facebook]. I think it’s outrageous to say that there’s only space for one company in these areas.” While he did not clarify what he was referring to, he could be speaking about the trouble they have been facing over privacy settings. Where Facebook Search is being seen as competition to Google, the latter’s Google+ is also being seen as an attempt to hog the social networking space. However, Gplus is being used to bring together searches. Page talks about Google+ and says, “I’m very happy with how it has gone … a lot of it has been copied by our competitors, so I think we’re doing a good job.” He is also not in agreement with the developments at Apple. He said that Apples does few things that work well for them he finds that unsatisfying. Talking about the dynamics of companies in the industry, he says, “I worry that something has gone seriously wrong with the way we run companies … it’s always about the competition.”
