Google Nexus 5 vs Sony Xperia Z vs HTC One. The specification for the Nexus 5 are based on report since the phone has not been released as of yet. When it comes to screen size, the HTC One lags behind with a 4.7 inch display versus the 5 inch display on the Xperia Z and Nexus 5. When it comes to processors the Google Nexus 5 with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor that clocks 2.3GHz paired with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM leads the pack against the HTC One’s Snapdragon 600 clocked at 1.7GHz and Xperia Z’s 1.5GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor with 2GB of RAM. The Nexus 5 and the Xperia Z both have 13MP cameras against the 4MP camera in the HTC One. The major difference is going to be the operating system though, with both the Xperia Z and the HTC One using Android 4.2.2 while the Nexus 5 will most likely have Android 4.3 or may be even the new 5.0 Lime Key Lite! So to answer the question, does waiting for the Google Nexus 5 makes sense one must consider if the Nexus 5 is going to be anything like the Nexus 4 than we can expect a brilliant phone at a great price. Only question remaining is how long one will have to wait for the phone to release, which might be the biggest shortfall for the phone yet, since Google haven’t even decided on a manufacturer!
