The Next Digit has reported that the Nexus 8 would compete with the iPad Mini Retina especially due to its Android 4.5 OS and 64-Bit processor. Google shifted to Nexus 8 as it wants to concentrate more on the 8-inch tablet group as the 7-inch sector is highly saturated at present. The company wants to enter into a less exploited section. The Next Digit also reported that Google will not launch the device during the upcoming Google I/O conference scheduled to be held in June, while it will release the product around July, according to a Google employee based in Dublin. Meanwhile, the company will announce the Android 4.5 update in the conference apart from highlighting its other services. The company launched the first and second generation Nexus 7 in a gap of one year in July 2012 and July 2013 respectively. People are expecting the company to release the Nexus 8 during the same time in 2014. PC Advisor has reported that the upcoming Google Nexus 8 is likely to carry a price tag of nearly £299. The device will be slightly more expensive than the Nexus 7 as a result of its improved features and bigger screen. Google will no longer launch a 7-inch tablet, and the big question here is who will manufacture the tablet for the internet giant.
