What is the one thing which makes the Microsoft Surface Pro more appealing than the iPad?—its touch pad. The absence of a touch pad on the highly functional iPad, packaged with plenty of keyboard accessories and features – fails to establish its repute as the perfect replacement for a laptop. However, its keyboard case serves to address many functions and provides the product with a distinctive identity of its own. Type Cover touch pad – not a very effective throwback The Surface’s Type Cover adds a lot of functionality to the product—with a little touch pad opening up doors for further productivity. It complements the 10-inch tablet design of the Surface Pro—making its working patterns similar to a laptop. So, it helps in highlighting, editing and using the drag and drop features—an addition that works as a throwback; albeit not a very effective one. Logitech’s Ultrathin Keyboard Cover along with Microsoft’s Type Cover Well, the iOS does not support touch pads—Android and Microsoft do. They add versatility to these products and make it easy for user to enjoy the applications which require the touch screen. It is time that iOS software introduced some useful, new and magical products— a product that can transform the way we look at the iPad. As a start—it will be nice to have Apple-made keyboard covers which come along with a touch pad or a simple touch-pad support.
