HTC First: To start with, we must tell you that this phone’s nowhere near the Galaxy S4 in terms of processing power and is more of a mid-range offering. Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with a Facebook Home overlay, the HTC First sports a 4.3-inch display with a resolution of 1280X720 pixels. The phone is powered by a dual-core 1.4 GHz Snapdragon processor and 1 GB of RAM, and has an internal storage of 16 GB. There’s no provision for expanding the storage space using microSD cards, however. And there’s a 2000 mAh battery, which should give the phone a long life on each charge for sure. Another major drawback is the 5 MP rear camera, which is far from satisfactory, while the front-facing camera has a decent resolution of 1.6 MP. Samsung Galaxy S4: When the world’s most popular smartphone maker brings out its flagship device, the whole world takes notice. That’s what happened with the Galaxy S4, which garnered a lot of attention in the media much ahead of its release. The successor to the popular Galaxy S3 sports a 5-inch full HD display and comes in two versions – one that’s powered by a quad-core 1.9 GHz Snapdragon 600 processor and the other with a Samsung Exynos 5 octo-core processor. Both these versions have 2 GB of RAM. There’s a 13 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front-facing camera with many advanced camera features. There’s also quite a few interesting features added into the phone, like the eye tracking and floating touch capabilities. A 2600 mAh battery keeps the phone powered for quite some time. Apple iPhone 5S: Apple’s upcoming device to take on the Galaxy S4 has also got a lot of rumors surrounding it. We can expect it to sport a larger screen than the 4-inch offering in the iPhone 5. And of course, it will be more powerful – rumors suggest that Apple could put in an A6X or an A7 processor in this new iPhone. There could be an iSight camera, a 13 MP rear camera and Smart Flash to reproduce color better in low light conditions. But for more details, guess we’ll just have to wait for Apple to announce the iPhone 5S.
