The recently launched HTC One (E8), also referred to as the Vogue Edition, is the new addition in the company’s popular One family. It is also called as the plastic version of the current HTC One (M8) flagship. The smartphone is equipped with a range of advanced and latest features and specifications, but its polycarbonate casing has made it much more affordable. The smartphone was launched earlier in June, and was expected to enter commercial market in few locations this month, but so far its availability has also been in China. The smartphone carries a price tag of CNY 2,999 (roughly USD481) in the country. However, there has not been any confirmed information that when it will be available in other markets. The smartphone has a screen size of 5 inches SLCD 3 display having a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at a 441ppi pixel density. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, and Adreno 330 graphics. The HTC One (E8) is also equipped with 16GB of internal storage capacity, a microSD card slot for additional memory of up to 128GB, a 13MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash, and a 5MP front shooter. It is available in four color options – Polar White, Electric Crimson, Maldives Blue and Misty Gray.
