HTC One: Although we still don’t know the pricing details, we’re expecting it to be priced somewhere around that of the iPhone 5. But if you need something that looks good in your hands, we’d say pick the HTC handset. Like the iPhone 5, it is also encased in an all aluminum body, but it does have a larger 4.7-inch screen making it a bigger style statement, literally and figuratively. As an added bonus, there’s the magnificent resolution of 468 ppi on its display – it really doesn’t get better than that, not for now at least. Powering the HTC One is a quad-core 1.7 GHz processor and 2 GB of RAM. The Ultrapixels camera promises a far more powerful sensor to reproduce images that are more real, clear and sharp. There’s also a 2.1 MP front-facing camera and both cameras can record at 1080p. Choose from 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage on the HTC One. Apple iPhone 5: When you look at the HTC One specs, and put the iPhone 5 next to it, there really is no comparison. The iPhone 5 has just a 4-inch display with a resolution of 326 ppi. It is powered by a dual-core Apple A6 1 GHz processor and has an 8 MP rear camera and a 1.2 MP front-facing camera. Of course, only iOS fans and Apple loyalists will continue to prefer the iPhone 5 in comparison with HTC. The iPhone 5 can only survive against the HTC flagship on account of the Apple brand. But will that be enough?
