HTC One: The most recently launched among the 3, HTC’s latest flagship sure does sound spectacular. Even though it has a relatively smaller 4.7-inch screen, its resolution of 468 ppi is the higher so far in the market. Add to that its powerful quad-core 1.7 GHz processor and 2 GB of RAM which help the phone run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with HTC’s improved Sense 5.0 UI, and you get even more impressed. And this is after you click on the phone – even its first glimpse is attractive. You can’t help but admire its all metal slick looking exterior. And then there’s the Ultrapixels camera – a unique HTC technology which promises truer photographic capabilities. Of course, there’s also a 2.1 MP front-facing camera to make video calls. HTC has put in a non-removable 2,330 mAh battery to power the phone. LG Optimus G Pro: LG showcased its latest flagship just a short while before the HTC One was unveiled, and we can see just how desperate it is to regain precious market share lost to Samsung. This one’s a massive phone – its 5.5-inch display does remind you of the Samsung Galaxy Note phablets, but it has a higher resolution of 401 ppi. Running on Android 4.1.2, it is powered by a quad-core 1.7 GHz processor and 2 GB of RAM. So, on the inside, it’s quite similar to the HTC One. But there’s a 13 MP rear camera and a 2.1 MP front-facing camera. A massive 3,140 mAh battery surely promises a long life to the Optimus G Pro. Nokia Lumia 920: Nokia’s flagship Windows Phone 8 based smartphone sports a smaller 4.5-inch display with a ppi count of 352 – it’s not the best viewing experience among the three for sure. But the phone does come in quirky colors, making it an attractive option for those who love vibrancy in their lives. Windows Phone 8 is a far better OS experience than its predecessor, but the number of apps is far less than that it Android or iOS. The Lumia 920 is powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor and 1 GB of RAM, making it less powerful than the other two phones. The 8 MP rear camera comes with Carl Zeiss optics and dual-LED flash and the front-facing camera a resolution of 1.3 MP. The 2,000 mAh battery promises a talktime of around 10 hours on 3G, but we’re sure the HTC One and LG Optimus G Pro are more power efficient.
