The new HTC smartphone will be equipped with a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. It will operate on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor under the hood, clocked at 1.2GHz and paired with Adreno 305 graphics and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone will also have an internal storage capacity of 8GB as well as a microSD card slot with an expandable memory of up to 64GB. Additionally, HTC Desire 610 will have an 8-megapixel rear camera along with LED flash, auto focus, face detection, Geo tagging, HDR and Touch focus, as well as a 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter for video calls. The smartphone will also offer lots of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 4G LTE support in the UK and Europe, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and a microUSB port. The device is available with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean on board as well as HTC Sense 5.5. HTC Desire 610 has its appearance similar to that of other HTC devices, having dual front speakers and some of the popular features, such as BoomSound and HTC Zoe. Clove UK was recently quoted saying on a company blog post that “The Desire 610 is a great choice if you’re looking for a simple yet stylish handset that has the feature set of a more expensive device.” The smartphone will be available in three color options – white, navy blue, and red. Clove UK is presently accepting pre-orders for only the navy blue variant under a price tag of £235, with stock due in early May. The white model is on pre-order but it is not accepting payments at this point. Meanwhile, customers who want the red color can register their interest on the website.
