A well-known tipster @evleaks has now claimed that the HTC Volantis is likely to be equipped with an 8.9-inch WQXGA display having a pixel resolution of 2560 x 1600 and would be powered by a 64-bit Tegra K1 processor under the hood. The tablet would also be having a hefty 5GB of DDR3 RAM. Other powerful specifications include 64GB of internal storage capacity, a 5- or 8-megapixel rear camera with full HD 1080p recording capabilities as well as HTC’s popular BoomSound audio tech. The Android Police has earlier reported that Google is working in association with HTC for the manufacturing of a new tablet codenamed Volantis or Flounder. IT has also been rumoured that the HTC-made Google Nexus tablet is likely to replace the LG-made Nexus 7.  The 16GB Nexus 9 model is likely to have a price tag of USD399, while the 32GB version would cost USD499. The tablet will reportedly be available with LTE on board as well, priced at slightly more than USD600.   Also Read:
