HTC is among the partners that are reportedly planning to reenter the tablet market, this time with Windows RT Blue. Fortunately, the new version of Windows RT would be better and more versatile than the one we’ve seen so far in the Microsoft Surface RT tablet. In addition, HTC is planning to customize the tablets with bug fixes, speed optimizations, and new useful features to Windows Blue 8.1. We can expect the company to bring out two tablets, with screen sizes between 7 and 12 inches, codenamed HTC R7 and HTC R12. The HTC R7 could have a 7-inch full HD display, be powered by a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage space, a 13 MP rear camera, an HDMI port, NFC connectivity, LTE, WiFi and Bluetooth. The bigger HTC R12 could have similar specs, but with a 12-inch HD screen with a resolution of 2048X1536 pixels, like the Apple’s Retina Display feature. We could expect these tablets to be out in the market sometime in October this year.
