Huawei Ascend D2: This 5-inch phablet is literally a powerhouse, with its 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. Quite unlike the Huawei brand which is known primarily for its affordability, this one without a doubt is as premium as you can expect. The display is an IPS Super Retina display with full HD and a resolution of 443 ppi. And the best thing about it – the Corning Glass screen is dust and water resistant too. To top it off, the Ascend D2 comes with a 13 MP camera that can even capture HD videos. 9.9 mm thick the Ascend D2 runs on a massive 3000 mAh battery – so game, browse, and do more for much longer time on the Android 4.1 interface. HTC One X+: With a 4.7-inch display, this one’s more on the smartphone side, but don’t brush it off just yet. With a Super LCD2 display having a 312 ppi, it does manage to reproduce images quite vividly. Powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, the only letdown is its 1 GB of RAM. However, if you’re not into running very heavy apps, you wouldn’t know the difference. With a 2100 mAh battery, it is no match for the Galaxy Note 2 or Ascend D2 in terms of talk-time or standby but does manage to work for a decent amount of time nevertheless. The One X+ has been fitted with an 8MP rear camera and a 1.6 MP front-facing camera. It also comes with 64 GB of internal storage space, which is quite comfortable. Samsung Galaxy Note 2: This one’s at the other extreme of the spectrum, with its gigantic 5.5-inch display. However, with a resolution of just 267 ppi, viewing isn’t as much of a pleasure as it is on the other two devices. However, dig deeper and you find sheer processing power, with a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and 2 GB of RAM, as well as 64 GB of internal storage. This one’s meant for quite a bit of heavy-lifting. The Galaxy Note 2 is also fitted with an 8MP rear camera, but its front-facing camera has a resolution of 1.9MP. Another huge advantage is its 3100 mAh battery, which keeps this phablet running for a long time on a single charge.
