Not getting impinged by Samsung’s top position in the mobile market, the Finnish mobile phone giant is gearing up to bring some competition to Apple’s iPad. Taiwan-based tech website Digitimes reported Nokia is in discussions with Microsoft, Qualcomm and Compal Electronics to invent a 10 inch Windows RT tablet. The 10- inch invention of Nokia would present some serious competition to Apple’s iPad which has been dominating the Tablet market for quite a time now. The whispers are that Nokia may unveil the tablet at Mobile World Congress, to be held in Barcelona in February. Digitimes has also reported that previously also Nokia had it in mind to come up with a Windows RT Tablet powered by on Qualcomm’s S4 processor but due to Windows intention to launch Surface the former dropped the idea.   Digitimes’ sources said that Nokia thought it was prudent to wait to see the response to another tablet and proceeded to develop its phones. Nokia design chief, Marko Ahtisaari told a magazine in the month of March that he was spending one-third of his time on an under-development tablet.
