There are speculations that to compete in the mobile space with Apple, Samsung will replace its AMOLED display with PL LCD’s According to Patently Apple, “A Samsung display plant is set to ramp up its production of PLS panels by 2014 with a target to rollout some 20 million PL LCDs for Galaxy smartphones, which likely will be used on the supposed Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 successors.” What ‘s interesting to note here is the fact that Samsung will reduce its manufacturing cost with the change in the displays. “Samsung Electronics will be able to reduce the display cost by approximately 20 per cent,” Patently Apple said on its report.” With such claims surfacing there is an immense possibility of Samsung shifting is mobile business pattern.  The mobile giant will shift its focus on the budget phones.
