Reports by Japanese publication Mac Otakara have showed that the Apple’s next-generation flagship smartphone would be equipped with rounded edges and a cover glass, unlike the straight edges seen on the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5S models. The publication also reported that Apple will no longer use the rear glass antenna breaks as it used in the iPhone 5 and 5S models, but would include an all-aluminum design.  This clearly shows that Apple is making some significant modifications to its overall antenna layout. The company is also likely to move current radios in different locations. All this is still a perception, and it is difficult to tell anything which is sure at this point of time. The recent reports have claimed that Apple is scheduled to release two versions of iPhone 6 this year, with one having a 4.7-inch display and the other boasting a 5.5- or 5.7-inch screen. The latest information suggests that the company is due to start the production of the 4.7-inch model in July, with the commercial launch due in September. Meanwhile, the manufacturing of the bigger version would start sometime in September. This suggests that the two versions will not hit the market at the same time. The smartphone is likely to be equipped with Apple’s next OS version, iOS 8, and it would be more scratch resistant as compared to the screens of the current iPhones. The smartphone is also likely to sport several other features, including 64-bit mobile processor, a clock speed of 2.6GHz and improved RAM. Additionally, it would have an advanced version of the camera along with optical image stabilization. Meanwhile, some recent reports have claimed that the company is looking for a USD100 price increase for the upcoming smartphone. Also Read:
