It has been reported by iDigitalTimes that Apple is likely to release its flagship device iPhone 6 as early as September or may be by October along with the release of iPad Air2 and iWatch. This speculation can be justified from the company’s historical trend as both the iPhone 5 and 5s/5c were launched on the third Friday of September. So the company will continue its trend and is expected to launch its latest flagship smartphone on September 19 2014. There have also been rumors that the upcoming Apple smartphone will be having a sapphire crystal screen, and if it is true then this device will be more durable and scratch-resistant as compared to iPhone 5s. However, it will also have a higher price tag. The iPhone 6 is expected to contribute significantly in the company’s smartphone business, with sales estimated to increase 23% in 2014 compared to a 13% rise in 2013, according to an analyst at Citigroup Global Markets quoted by Chinese publication Commercial Times. 2014 has already been a very eventful and busy year for Apple, especially in terms of offers and sales on the company’s products, and we are expected to see more products coming up once we reach the holiday season.
