Some recent reports have claimed that the device would be launched in multiple sizes with a fashionable design. The device would be up to 2.5 inch in size diagonally, similar to the size of iPod nano. The company is expected to release one model with a screen size of 1.6 inch and two with 1.8 inches of screen. The company believes in perfection when it comes to design, and it is being said that nearly 100 people are working on the upcoming iWatch. The company has hired several experts in the recent times as it does not want to comprise on designing and other features. Some of its recruits are Paul Deneve, former CEO of French luxury label Yves Saint Laurent; Nancy Dougherty, formerly at Sano Intelligence; Ravi Narasimhan, formerly worked at biosensor technology firm Vital Connect; Michael O’Reilly, M.D., the former Chief Medical Officer and EVP of Medical Affairs at Masimo Corporation; and Patrick Pruniaux, former sales director of TAG Heuer. Although Apple is likely to launch the iWatch in October 2014, it would only be commercially available in 2015, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
