To start with, we’re not really sure if we should classify it as an Ultrabook or as a hybrid. It can be used as a tablet, but its keyboard isn’t detachable – you can fold it back. So that makes it a little heavier to use as a tablet, but as a laptop, it sure is on the lighter side. Let’s get down to the tech specs first. The IdeaPad Yoga 11 sports an 11.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1366X768 pixels and is powered by a Tegra 3 1.4 GHz processor and 2 GB of RAM. It runs on Windows RT, which also makes it a bit of a downer. There’s a 1 MP camera that can help you video chat on the device, but that’s all. We’d have loved to see more RAM and Windows 8 Pro on it. It is $649.99, but for another $150, you can get the Windows 8 Pro on it. It’s got a responsive screen, which is a huge bonus. And another good thing about the IdeaPad Yoga 11 comes with Internet Explorer 10 and even supports Flash. There are two USB ports as well as a SD card slot for those who need more than the onboard 64 GB storage. But in terms of running apps, it could have been a little faster – Android tablets and the iPad loads apps faster. Even loading sites takes a little longer on this device. Also, for its price, we doubt if you really should bother splurging on this. Our advice – wait a while to see what else pops up in the market. You might just find yourself a better deal.
