On the inside: Powering the LG Escape is a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor with 1 GB of RAM. That’s ample power to run 4-5 apps at once, play games, check e-mail and work on your office docs as well. The phone comes with an internal memory of 4 GB, which you can expand up to 32 GB using a microSD card. It runs on Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich, and we’re yet to hear from LG on whether it will get upgraded to Jelly Bean. The coolest thing about this phone is that it offers 4G connectivity, where available, for superfast internet browsing capabilities. For the non-4G world, this phone can even run on 2G and 3G networks, and even has Wi-Fi connectivity. A powerful 2100 mAh battery ensures that you can use this phone extensively all day and still not run out of charge. On the outside: This phone is a looker, no doubt about that. We have to give LG credit for making phones with aesthetic appeal, and that’s one of the main reasons why we know this phone will do well among the female consumer base. Sporting a 4.3 inch IPS LCD, this phone is large enough for clear viewing of text, but compact enough to fit in the average woman’s hand. Even the keys are touch-sensitive, so the front surface is completely smooth without any ugly bumps.  For the shutterbugs, the Escape has a 5MP autofocus rear camera with face detection and HDR capabilities that can even capture videos at 1080p. This phone even has a front-facing camera with a resolution of 1.3MP that lets you click self-shots and make video calls. This phone is certainly high on features and looks, and it comes in a sleek little package. It’s all black in color, but we wish LG could offer it with more color options too.
