The officials spotted two oil slicks off the southern tip of Vietnam, giving a much needed clue behind the disappearance mystery. The oil slicks initially hinted that the plane had crashed into the ocean, but the theory was later disproved. Two passengers in the flight had used stolen passports to board the plane – one belong to Austria’s Christian Kozel and the other to Italy’s Luigi Maraldi. The passports were stolen in Thailand in the past two years. One of the accused has been identified by Malaysian police as 19-year-old Iranian asylum seeker, Pouria Nour Mohammad Mehrdad. It has also been reported that five other people had checked-in to flight MH370, but they did not board the flight and their luggage was removed by the officials, according to News.com. The police have been currently investigating all the five people. However, the Huffington Post has reported that the Malaysian officials are dismissing reports five passengers had checked in and not boarded the plane. Malaysia is also not ruling out the possibility of terrorist involvement behind the disappearance of the flight. The FBI along with the investigating teams of eight other countries is presently in search of the missing plane.
