When Microsoft started inviting people for the event scheduled to be held on May 20 2014, it was highly predicted that the company is all set to launch a Surface Mini tablet. While the company is expected to launch the Surface Mini at the event, it is highly possible that the company would announce the launch of a new-generation Surface Pro tablet. According to a Twitter user post on May 14, Microsoft has initiated a new Support page on its website that is featuring the “Surface Pro 3 camera.” The page in question gives a detailed description of how to add recording support for H.264 with the Surface Pro 3. While there is a high possibility that the page is actually pointing out to the Surface Pro 2 camera and the Surface Pro 3 appeared as a typo, there may be a possibility that Microsoft is all geared up to unleash a new flagship tablet. Microsoft entered into the tablet market back in 2012 with the launch of its own-brand slates – the Surface RT and the Surface Pro. However, the tablets were not successful in the market, especially the RT model, but the company again launched a second generation in 2013 with its new Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2. The company is now planning to enhance its tablet market presence with the launch of a new Surface Mini and Surface Pro 3. The company has not yet disclosed any plans related to the launch of a Surface Mini or a third-generation Surface Pro, so take everything as a rumor. The clear picture will be out on May 20 when the company will conduct its event.
