Vincent said in an interview to Telegraph that, “The missing Malaysian plane is expected to have suffered a catastrophic event rather than an act of terrorism or aircraft hijacking.” He explained that the fire may have resulted in filling the cabin with exhausts or toxic gases that lead to the pilot’s last communication with ground control at 1:19 am on March 8. The fire would have also resulted in the failure of the transponder and the Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS). However, he refuted the report that the fire was caused due to a bomb explosion as no terrorist group has taken the responsibility for the act so far. Based on speculations by Vincent, the airplane deviated from its original path in order to reach a safer haven after the fire went rampant inside the flight. He was quoted saying “My guess is that in the horrendous conditions that this crew was operating when they were turning that airplane was that the cockpit is full of smoke, you can’t even see the instruments.” The Malaysian government has recently released the full audio transcript of the missing plane. The plane has been reported missing since March 8, 2014 when it departed from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, China. The plane had 239 people, including 12 crew members. Lots of investigation and search agencies from all over the world are working day and night to search the missing plane.
