The online world is again filled with news related to the production and release date of Nexus 8, which is one of the premier devices of Google. The Google Nexus 8 is also believed to be equipped with a 64-bit CPU and Android 4.5 exclusively. A report by Highlight Press has claimed that the tech giant Google is changing its Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipsets for the upcoming tablet, and will be using a new and more powerful 64-bit Intel CPU. The first and second generation Nexus 7 tablets received widespread appreciation as a result of their excellent features and performance. They set a base for Google to manufacture top notch tech gadgets at a good price. However, provided the trend that Google started, the market for the 7-inch tablets have started saturating. Google is still the most renowned and powerful name in the 7-inch segment, but the increasing number of competitors and regular launch of products threaten its position in the market. It will take no time to put another name on top as the industry is highly unpredictable and competitive. Keeping such things in mind, Google has entered into the less competitive 8-inch market. The available specifications and details about the device are limited. The tablet is likely to be powered by 64-bit Intel Moorefield CPU clocked at 2.33Ghz including a PowerVR G6430 GPU clocked at 2.33Ghz. The tablet will initially be available exclusively with Android 4.5, which will go by the Lollipop or Licorice. It is also expected that Google would make the official announcement about the 8-inch tablet during the company’s I/O event.
