iPhone 5 today hits the Chinese market, which is being seen as the savior for sliding Apple shares. Though Apple is one of biggest smartphone manufacturers but if it’s looking for a long term telecom carrier then its penetration in the Chinese market is necessary. It has been four years since the Cupertino, California-based Apple has been talking to China’s biggest mobile carrier for distribution. China is one of the world’s fastest growing markets and has quite a potential in the telecom sector....

Rumor is that Blackberry 10 OS would make its first appearance on January 30th. It is also coming to our ears that RIM is not only going to catapult Blackberry 10 OS but will also take off curtains from Blackberry Z10 and Blackberry Z10 which would come equipped with QWERTY keyboard. To beat the competition of tech world, RIM has decided to give BB10 to consumers for less than $199 contract....

The smartphone will carry a price tag of Rs 8500, and will be available with some pre-loaded applications including Maps, Mixradio, Facebook and Twitter. This phone boasts a 4-inch touchscreen with dual SIM feature. The Nokia smartphone will be powered by Android’s Jellybean operating system, dual core 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM and memory expandable up to 32GB. Additionally, it will be equipped with a 3MP rear camera. The company showcased its X range of smartphones – Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL – at the Mobile World Congress on February 24 2014 in Barcelona....

From the outside, it’s built similar to the 600D, but there’s quite a bit that’s changed on the inside. The EOS 650D comes with an 18MP resolution with a dual autofocus mechanism, which enables it to click subjects with sharpness and precision and even maintain autofocus continuously when shooting videos. The rear LCD screen has free angle movement and a touch screen interface for ease of use. Use the touch screen to capture a shot, change settings and shooting modes, track faces of your subjects, select autofocus points on the screen, swipe through the image gallery, and even pinch to zoom into the images clicked....

In defence of the company, RIM’s developer relations vice president Alec Saunders said, “I was shocked because the numbers in the report do not gel with what we’re seeing in the real world. The report contradicts much of what we are seeing and hearing in our developer community.” Are you wondering how come the result of the survey and what RIM’s developer relations vice president is saying are so contradictory?...

According to reports, Facebook has already contacted and joined hands with some of the big names in the job-posting industry such as BranchOut, Jobvite and Work4Labs, which are expected to provide a base for the new platform. If all goes as per plans, this service is expected to roll out as early as next month. However, what needs to be paid attention to is that as of now Facebook has made no formal announcement of this service....

Silicon Valley industry insiders are currently talking that Facebook is becoming the new Yahoo. Facebook has decided to scrap its photo-rich redesign and release a design that may look similar to its 2009 design but works really great for majority of its users. If Facebook fails to innovate on design as a result of its large install base, then the company is really becoming the next Yahoo. Yahoo has operated with a classic innovator’s dilemma almost since its start....

This path-breaking technology has been exhibited by Belgian researchers. Ghent University’s Centre of Micro-Systems Technology’s spherical LCD display has been enclosed in the contact lens which conducts the projected image using wireless technology. “Now that we have established the basic technology, we can start working towards real applications, possibly available in only a few years,” said Professor Herbert De Smet. The new revelation allows for use of whole curved surface of the lens contrary to the previous contact lens displays which only uses few pixels to form an image....

It has been quite some time since Google came up with an update to its Android Jelly Bean, but the wait seems to have gotten just a little longer. Apparently, the delay is being caused by Google’s decision to allow its OEMs to update their existing range of phones to Android 4.2.2. That also means that we won’t get to see the Motorola X or the Nexus 5 anytime soon either....

Experts that Google would be announcing this 10-inch tablet sometime around Christmas this year but so far, there is no official word about the Google Nexus 10 2. What is even more interesting is that Google has pulled down the Nexus 10 webpage from their India-based app store, Play Store India on 2nd December earlier this month. This further cements the growing rumors that the next generation Google Nexus 10 2 could be announced much sooner than it is expected....

As per IBNLive report, “Those who are waiting for an enliven of the Nexus chain of tablets could have in for some great news in the forthcoming week. Analysts presume Asus to launch a restored Nexus 7 tablet at the Computex trade fair which is expected fromJune 4 to 8, 2013 in Taipei.” The report quotes CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets analyst Chitra Gopal, who considers that the inexpensive second-gen Nexus 7, laterally with other budget tablets from Acer and ASUS, would be embattled at evolving emporiums....

We’re speculating it’s for Verizon since that remains to be the only U.S. carrier to not offer the HTC flagship smartphone yet. Maybe the DLXPLUS is the HTC One variant to be offered through the carrier then. Given that the phone has garnered a lot of positive attention, we can’t imagine why Verizon wouldn’t want a piece of the action. There’s also a possibility that the DLXPLUS could in fact be the HTC Droid DNA 2 smartphone too....

The speculations of HTC One 2 release have also fueled from the fact that HTC introduced HTC One at the same event last year. According to IBTimes.com.au, “Respected HTC-based developer, LlabTooFeR, revealed The HTC One 2 may come loaded with Android Kitkat OS, and a screen size of 5.0 withHTC’s own Sense 6 UI.” Though HTC and Google have not confirmed anything yet, one of the most reliable tipster @evleaks leaked that HTC M8 will sport a 5-inch HD display coupled with 2....

HTC One SV: Let’s start by admitting just how much we love this phone’s overall design. It’s sleek, but has curved edges, and red highlights to make the device look rather vibrant. It’s also got a crimson metallic trim running along the side, giving it an expensive look. Its 4.3-inch screen is of course on the smaller side, especially in comparison with the Galaxy S3, but it has a decent 800X480 pixel resolution, which is more than what you can expect at this price....

Here’s some bad news for those who were planning to pick up the Surface RT 32GB model – well, you can’t, not for a while at least. So if you don’t mind shelling out a little extra, place your order for either of the other 2 models that are still in stock but finishing soon. The Microsoft online store had to turn away many potential customers for the Surface RT 32GB model that comes without the Touch cover, a day after it started taking pre-orders....

Apple Inc. has made small adjustments to its present range of iPhone and iPad series with inventive and cost effective alternatives in the developing markets. As per Piper Jaffray managing director & senior research analyst Gene Munster, the iPad 4 and iPhone 5c sold at $399 will cast a slight positive impact in the coming two quarters for the company. In his investor’s note, Munster stated that the 8GB iPhone 5c will work for the betterment of the company....

Xu has said that the next-generation Apple smartphone will be equipped with a larger pixel size of 1.75 um, a significant increase compared to the 1.5 um pixel size of the current iPhone 5S’s camera. This would enable the camera to absorb more light and produce a higher image quality. Meanwhile, recent reports by Japanese publication Mac Otakara have showed that the Apple’s next-generation flagship smartphone would be equipped with rounded edges and a cover glass, unlike the straight edges seen on the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5S models....

Since iPod sales have recently become a smaller and smaller part of Apple’s revenue, this should not be so surprising. The iPod is certainly no longer a major part of Apple’s future plans. The MacBook Pro certainly is though and that is why it might actually be a good this that we haven’t seen a new MacBook Pro running a Haswell processor as of yet. The MacBook Air was one of the first laptops to adapt to the new Haswell processor but that was done by basically retrofitting the previous MacBook Air with the Haswell processor....

This new development on Apple’s portal could be a signal of the slaying of the iPod. It is not shocking since we haven’t seen any new update and model launch of the iPod since 2012. Apple did not display sales of the device in its first quarter report for 2015. This was a massive signal that one of Apple’s hottest at one time is dying. Although Apple seems to be removing iPod from its product list, the iPod has given them many advantages ever since its release in 2001....

Apple was awarded $1.05 billion, half of $2.5 billion that Apple requested. If the Jury ruling survives the appeal than Samsung business all over the world are likely to get affected. Apple and Samsung both are key players in the Smartphone and the Tablet Market. Till now, the ruling has not affected the sales of the Samsung products but Apple has requested to ban the Samsung products, which have been copied from Apple....
