A month back Ubuntu seemed Utopian to us. However, news now about the open-source operating system coming to smartphones has now been confirmed officially. Come October and the OS from canonical would make way to your smartphone. One surprise that would only be revealed in October would be the phones that would be compatible with Ubuntu. Just that– we know Samsung Galaxy Nexus would be seamlessly compatible with this OS....

However, according to the latest rumors, a Japanese report has stated that Apple will launch the iPhone 5S in 2014, this time with a bigger 4.5-inch screen. This new phone will also come with a polycarbonate casing, which could make the phone thicker but more durable than the iPhone 5. The iPhone 5S will also have dual-LED, but it will be placed one on top of the other to the right of the lens....
Apple was anyway leading in the tablet world, thanks to its most popular iPad. First off, a YouTube video posted by a well-known gadget reviewer Marques Brownlee shows off the display of the smartphone, allegedly made of sapphire, as it undergoes some rough testing. On a side note, iPhone 5S repairs are still being tested and there is no word on their roll-out as yet....
