A spokesperson from Nintendo told Slashgear.com, “Pokemon X and Pokemon Y reached the 1 million units sold mark faster than any other 3DS game in history. The game also spurred sales of the 3DS console as well with Nintendo reporting a 135% increase in sales four weeks after the launch of the game.” According to the statistics reveled by Nintendo one out of every Nintendo 3DS user have purchased Pokemon X and Pokemon y. Also the game has become phenomenon on social networks. “There were more than 2 million tweets in the past 30 days about Pokemon. The game was also the fastest selling title in Nintendo eShop history”, Nintendo further revealed.
