According to a report filed with the Federal Communications Commission, the Galaxy Grand will be powered by a Samsung Exynos 4412 quad-core mobile processor and will run on Android 4.1.1. It will have a 2100 mAh battery and an 800X480 pixel resolution 5-inch WVGA display. The Galaxy Grand will support 4G connectivity, as well as WiFi and NFC capabilities. Codenamed as Baffin, the device will primarily be aimed at the emerging markets. Although there are no details as yet on the pricing, we’re hoping it’s affordably priced to make it a fad, especially among the Indian consumers.
