Samsung Galaxy Mega: Samsung’s on a roll with the recent success it has had in the smartphone market, and to make things even better, the company is planning to announce two new Galaxy Mega phablets, one with a 5.8-inch screen and the other with a 6.3-inch screen. From the specs we’ve heard so far, looks like these two will be in the affordable price range. The Galaxy Mega 6.3 is expected to be powered by a dual-core 1.7 GHz processor and would run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Fitted with an 8 MP rear camera and a 3,200 mAh battery and 8/16 GB of internal storage, the phablet will have features like AirView, Multi Windows and Pop Up Play. The Galaxy Mega 5.8 will have a qHD display, a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and an 8 MP camera, but will come with only 8 GB of internal storage. LG Optimus G Pro: LG’s flagship device smartphone for 2013 comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display, with a 401 ppi count. Powered by a quad-core 1.7 GHz Krait processor and 2 GB of RAM and running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, it has 32 GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot. There’s a lovely 13 MP rear camera and a 2.1 MP front-facing camera and a huge 3,140 mAh battery included. Apple iPhone 6: From the rumors we’ve heard, looks like Apple’s bowed down to the choice of the people and is planning to make the iPhone 6 a phablet, but with the same dimensions as the existing iPhone 5. We’ve heard that Apple could get rid of the home button, making the phone’s screen larger and even possibly do away with the bezels. It’s also possible that Apple could offer the iPhone 6 in multiple screen options – ranging from a Mini to an XL. There’s also going to be a brand new A7 processor. The iPhone 6 could have a 5.5-inch screen while its resolution remains unknown.
