It seems in 2013 Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is not going to rule the roost.  The most coveted phablet of 2012 may get Goosebumps looking at the new beauty from Huawei, the 6.1 inch Ascend Mate. The device has big screen with a bigger battery, no doubt some bigger and better things are happening with Huawei this year.  The phablet houses of monstrous battery of 4,050mAh and would let you use for phone for days without charging and you will get the standby time in weeks. The device is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processor and the 6.1 inch display is protected by Gorrila Glass. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is on board coupled with Huawei’s “Emotion UI.” Ascend mate weighs 200 gms which is light looking at its size.  It comes packed with themes which lets you personalize. This new offering form Huawei is a breeze to use just like D2. The micro SD expansion will let you watch quite a lot of movies and 8MP camera gives you smooth HD recording. The Ascend Mate supports microSD card expansion which will come in handy since the size of this display will be quite nice to watch videos on.The front facing camera is 1.0MP.  Bluetooth 4.0 LE has also been included in the device.
