But Samsung’s just stepped into the rink with its latest Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet which comes with the S-Pen. Although it’s priced higher than the Nexus 7 and the iPad Mini, it does come with the benefit of being used as a phone/phablet so you can make calls, send and receive SMSs, in addition to doing all that you could with a tablet. However, if you are price conscious, the Nexus 7 makes for a good buy for you. In terms of dimension, the iPad Mini is the lightest among the 3 at 308g, while the other two weigh 340g. But if resolution matters to you, the Nexus 7 has the best to offer with its 216 ppi display. However, if it’s powerful processing that you’re looking for, you might as well pick up the Galaxy Note 8.0 with its quad-core 1.6 GHz processor and 2 GB of RAM. For those of you who want to store a lot of data, the iPad Mini comes with 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB internal storage space. Or you could pick up the Galaxy Note 8.0’s 32 GB model and add a microSD card to it. If you love clicking pictures with your tab, you can consider either the iPad Mini or the Galaxy Note 8.0 with their 5 MP rear cameras. On the other hand, the Nexus 7 has only a 1.2 MP front-facing camera.
