LG insists that it had filed an application in 2009 to patent a feature that lets smartphones track users’ eye movements and pause videos when their eyes are averted from the screens. The Optimuus G Pro comes with this Smart Video feature. In addition, the company has also filed for several other eye-tracking related patents in 2005. Of course, Samsung has denied these allegations and insists that it uses its own technology in the Galaxy S4. But the courtroom drama between these two companies goes far back. Last year, both companies sued each other over their plans to creation 55-inch OLED TVs but the issue managed to get settled out of court. But will it be the same this time around?
