The S4 Zoom will use a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, a 1.6GHz dual core processor, a 16-megapixel camera with 10x Optical Zoom with a dedicated shutter button, 8GB of internal storage, a microSD expansion slot with support for up to 64GB microSD cards, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, Android 4.2.2 with Samsung’s TouchWiz Nature UX interface and a 1900 mAh battery. It doesn’t appear to have a removable battery as once thought, since the image clearly shows the back of the smartphone boasting of the camera with a protruding zoom lens. The Samsung Ativ S measures 5.40 inches tall and 2.78 inches wide. With a profile of 0.34 inch, it is the thinnest WP8 handset, and its 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display earns it the title of the biggest WP8 device as well. The phone is large and requires a wide grip. Its brushed-metallic aesthetic that’s featured on the back plate is attractive and unique, and its audio speaker grill, which stretches across the entire width of the Ativ S’ rear, looks promising for ample sound. In addition to its 1.5GHz dual-core processor, the Ativ S packs in a rear-facing 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and an LED flash, and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera. It will also house a microSD card and support for NFC with large 2,300mAh battery and 1 GB of RAM. The Ativ S supports HSPA+, not 4G LTE. If the Ativ ever comes to the U.S., HSPA+ connectivity will limit the Ativ to T-Mobile, unless Samsung also releases a model compatible with LTE. After the leak of Galaxy S4 Zoom, it is expected from Samsung that we get a newer and fresher ATIV S variants on its launch unlike the past history of leakages by Samsung.
