The smartphone is expected to be priced at £350-£400 (nearly USD550) for a SIM-free handset. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini is likely to be equipped with dual-SIM capabilities. It would have a 4.5-inch display, along with a resolution of 720p, a quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz and 1.5GB of RAM. The smartphone’s internal memory is believed to be 16GB along with an option of a micro SD card slot for additional memory. The smartphone would also feature an 8MP rear camera and a 1.5MP front shooter. Additionally, the Galaxy S5 Mini is likely to have the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat on board out of the box. The smartphone has measurements of 131.1 x 64.8 x 9.1 mm but it is smaller than the One Mini 2 and 120 g lighter than HTC (137g) and Xperia Z1 Compact (137g). The Galaxy S5 Mini is equipped with IP67 dust and water resistance, fingerprint scanner and heart rate monitor.   It also has connectivity options of 4G, NFC, Wi-Fi, an IR blaster and Bluetooth 4.0 LE along with a microSD slot.
