The Xperia SL features a 4.3-inch LED-backlit LCD touchscreen with scratch-resistant glass and a 720p resolution. The display is powered by Sony Mobile BRAVIA engine, giving it a better pixel density than the Retina-display technology. Powered by a dual-core 1.7 GHz processor and 1 GB of RAM, this new phone runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. It’s got a 12 MP rear camera with an LED flash and geo-tagging, multi angle shot, and autofocus capabilities. The camera can also record videos at 1080p resolution at 30 fps with stereo sound. The front-facing camera has a resolution of 1.3 MP, which is just right to make video calls. The Xperia SL has 32 GB of internal storage and a microHDMI port so you can connect it directly to your HDTVs. The coolest thing about the Xperia SL is that it is PlayStation Certified and gives you access to the PS Store – so if you love gaming, this is definitely a phone you can consider. The phone comes in three color options – pink, white, gray and black, so pick one that suits your personality best. The phone, however, does have a few downsides, like the absence of a microSD card slot, making it impossible to expand its storage capacity. Also with a price tag of over Rs. 30,000 we wonder if it would serve as a suitable investment when you can easily get a more powerful phone for lesser cost.
