The news was broken on Sony’s Facebook page which said it will launch at Sony’s Berlin store on this date. Even though there is no official confirmation yet, Sony has also sent out invites for an Xperia Z event on the same date in another European country. Sweden’s 3 is among the first carriers in the continent to start taking pre-orders for the Xperia Z. The LTE enabled Xperia Z running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is up for pre-order and comes with a price tag of SEK 5,495 (around $870). Customers can also get the phone free with a two year consumer or business plan with this carrier.
